For me, the "glass of life" is never half empty or half full. At my age, it shouldn't be. I like to think of it more as that fruit cake your Great-Aunt Betty makes for Christmas where you eat around certain things like walnuts and clear-colored jelly but get excited when you find a good ol' raisin or a peanut-- you know-- the familiar ingredients.
